Russian-belgian violinist Tatiana Samouil was born in St Petersburg in musicians family. Very early she started to learn piano with her mother , and from 6 years old started the violin , which became a passion of her life . At the age of 9 , Tatiana gave her first recital and made a debut with Symphony orchestra , playing Haydn violin concerto under the button of her father , conductor Alexandru Samoila.


From the age of 14, Tatiana is in Moscow , where she studies with prof. Fatkulin and later with legendary prof.Maia Glezarova at Moscow Conservatory. After becoming a member of "New names " program for exceptional young talents , she is touring Russia extensively , as well as playing in Vatican for the Pope Joan Paul the second, at Unesco head quarters in Geneve as well as in Germany and France.

After obtaining a soloist diploma from Moscow conservatory , Tatiana becomes a student of prof.

 

Igor Oistrakh in Brussels Conservatory ; under his guidance Tatiana wins prizes at 7 International Competitions , including Queen Elisabeth , Jean Sibelius and Tchaikovsky , which opens her the doors to international stages, conductors and orchestras. Tatiana still decided to study one year more in Madrid "Reina Sofia" school, where she had lessons with professor Jose Luis Garcia.

At present , Tatiana is internationally acclaimed soloist and pedagogue , based in Brussels and teaching in Queen Elisabeth Music College and Antwerp Royal Conservatory .

Only this season , Tatiana was playing in Russia with Yuri Bashmet and " Novaya Rossia "

symphony orchestra; Montevideo with Simfonica Uruguay ; Palermo and Paris , Singapour , Seoul, Moscow , Rio De Janeiro and Nice.

Next concerts include ; Sochi International Winter Festival of Arts in Russia , Dias Da musica in Lissabon , Odessa opera Theatre and Istanbul.

Passionate by chamber music , Tatiana is a founding member and a first violin of Malibran String Quartet since 2008.


Jury member of Queen Elisabeth Violin competition 2012, Tatiana is invited for masterclasses in South Korea, France , Spain, Italy and Portugal.

Keeping a very intensive connection with her native Russia, Tatiana is a teaching member of Yurii Bashmet Educational Program, which brings master classes to 15 different cities of Russia for talented kids. As one the results of this collaboration , Tatiana was playing at Closing ceremony of Sochi Olympic games with Yuri Bashmet , accompanied by All Russian Youth Orchestra (February 2014)

 

Discography of Tatiana Samouil includes a variety of programs , such is a recital with piano ( all Prokofiev with Plamena Mangova) , concertos with orchestra ( Saint Saëns violin concerto with Liege Philarmonjc and Christian Arming , Luis Gianneo violin concerto with Salta Philarmonic ), rare chamber music works by Enesco ( with Claudia Bara , Gerard Causse and Justus Grimm) , virtuoso violin pieces with Irina Lankova , the complete chamber music of Cesar Franck ( with Malibran Quartet and David Lively) . The recording with Ysaye pieces realized with Liege Philarmonic and J-J Kantoroff received " Diapason D'or ".
